Just Do It

As a writer you’ll naturally want your audience to enjoy whatever it is you are writing about but one thing to keep in mind is that not everyone will enjoy your work. Differing opinions on how you should word your work and being too mouthy or too short will be a couple of things you’ll hear.

Best thing to remember is EVERYONE IS A CRITIC, and not all critics are bad. Take the negative feedback and turn it into a positive which can help a growth area. Get the opinions of fellow writers and readers who will offer suggestions that aren’t biased. Be open to hearing what people have to say about your work and ask them how you can improve.

But most importantly, just do the best you can. Writing just isn’t about “sounding right”, it’s about speaking from the soul and having fun while doing it!
